Zuri Acrylic Resin-Gold

The Zuri Acrylic Resin Gold is a specialized two-part system, an essential tool for crafting enthusiasts keen on creating golden objects with fine details effortlessly. This system consists of a mineral powder and a water-based resin liquid. When combined, they form a mixture ready for casting into silicone molds. This easy-to-use, solvent-free resin is ideal for crafting detailed golden artifacts with a rich, gleaming finish.

Mixing Instructions:
In your kit, you will find two primary components: the first is the Zuri Acrylic Resin Gold Powder, and the second is the Zuri Acrylic Resin Gold Liquid. To create the ideal mixture, combine 1 part liquid with 2.5 parts powder, measured by weight. Before initiating the mixing process, ensure to have all the elements ready and accurately measured, using a scale if necessary. Combine the powder and liquid in a cup, stirring until no lumps remain, a process that usually takes between 30 and 60 seconds.

Casting Instructions:
To achieve the best casting results, begin by sprinkling a thin layer of gold powder in the mold. Then pour about half of your prepared mixture into the mold, gently shaking or tapping the sides to remove any entrapped air, especially important when working with complex mold designs. To guarantee an even spread, consider rotating the mold a few times with the mixture or applying a preliminary layer with a brush before filling it with the remaining mixture.

Curing Instructions:
After the casting process, allow the resin to cure for 20 to 60 minutes, extending this time if necessary for more intricate objects. Use the residue left in the mixing cup to monitor the curing status. Once cured, gently remove the golden object from the mold. Be aware that the object may release some moisture on its surface as it continues to cure over the next few hours, attaining its final stunning golden appearance.
