Mod Podge Multi Matte is a versatile all-in-one glue, sealer, and finish for indoor crafts, washable fabric projects, decorative drinkware, and sheltered outdoor décor. It dries clear with a smooth, low-sheen matte finish that reduces glare and keeps decorative colors and details visible.
Use it to apply decoupage napkins, tissue paper, rice paper, scrapbook paper, printed designs, and fabric accents to wood, canvas, fabric, glass, metal, terra-cotta, and properly prepared plastic.
Especially useful for:
- Indoor decoupage and mixed-media projects
- Wood signs, trays, boxes, and frames
- Shirts, tote bags, pillows, and fabric décor
- Decorative mugs, tumblers, jars, and glassware
- Oyster shells, ornaments, and keepsakes
- Covered porch and patio decorations
When properly applied and fully cured, fabric projects can be machine washed in cold water. Keep Mod Podge and decorative materials away from drinking rims, interiors, eating surfaces, and areas that directly contact food or beverages.
For best results, begin with a clean, dry surface and apply Mod Podge Multi Matte in thin, even coats. Position the design and gently smooth from the center outward to remove wrinkles and trapped air. Allow each layer to dry before applying additional topcoats. Minimum cure time is 28 days.
For outdoor use, display finished projects only in sheltered areas protected from prolonged rain, standing water, and continuous moisture. Mod Podge Multi Matte is not waterproof.
Drying and curing times vary by surface, application, and environment. Check with Plaid for its current recommendations before handling, using, or applying varnish or another finish over the completed project.
