How to Layer Rub on Transfer Decals on Wood Furniture Decor

Upcycle your furniture with Rub on Transfer Decals

Upcycling your wood Furniture Decor with Rub on Transfer Decals can give new life and artistic flare to tired or worn pieces.  ReDesign with Prima has created an instruction sheet on how to layer Rub on Furniture transfers on wood.

1.   Prepare you drawer sides by giving a quick clean, lightly sand to remove any imperfections and clean off all dust.

2.  Starting with your first transfer, in this case the script that is called Never Ending Story, a fabulous distressed look & old world writing, perfect as the base for my design.

Apply with the transfer tool or the stick that is provided in each tube.

Make sure to burnish with your fingers or clean cloth before adding another transfer on top!

3.  Add you second transfer choice over the top, I chose the gorgeous Sunflower Farms, it's the perfect compliment to the script!.

Burnish this as well!

4. Seal with Polycrylic or Clear Wax!
